Crawley Cricket Club is a Community Cricket Club run on
behalf of the club membership and people wishing to join the
club.
Our Mission is to "Promote the game of cricket and provide
facilities and matches for club members, whatever their age,
race or religion and promote the benefits of Cricket to the
wider community"
Crawley Cricket Club promotes the game of cricket to the 10
schools in the Crawley area, providing coaching and a resource
for young players. The senior sides within the club play
within the Sussex Invitation League Division the firsts in the
top division and the seconds playing in Division 2, running two
sides on Saturday and two sides on Sunday with some midweek
matches, cup competitions and training sessions.
Our home ground is Southgate Park on a brand new square for
the 2007 season.
We welcome players and non playing members to the club from
all sections of the community. We are a member only
organization and do not engage overseas professional players as
we feel this takes cricket away from paying members.
